Turf wars
As I blogged about here, I have been considering turf for our backyard, where grass has been tough to grow. We're finally having some success with grass - my husband planted a PC-brand seed that is made for shade. ...but I still have turf on my radar - I passed this house today which has no natural greenery - everything from the grass to the hedge to the topiaries are F-A-K-E! How's that for low-maintenance!!?

ReplyDeleteGood eye :) Closer to me - on Langford about a block and a half north of the Starbucks on the west side. It's a nice re-do...has a nice garage in the back too.
ReplyDeleteWell, you would never know from the pictures! I can't believe the hedge is even fake. Seriously, it looks good.
ReplyDeleteI know....some people argue it's better for the environment too, since it requires no fertilizer or water. I've read that it's about $8-$16 per square foot.
